"Interior" by Franz Burger shows the same typical use of light with dark shadows Burger used in the cyclorama.

Franz Burger (1857 -1940) grew up in East Tyrol and studied at the Munich Art Academy with Zeno Diemer, who invited him to join the team of artists for the Innsbruck cyclorama. Like Diemer, Burger also drew numerous mountain panoramas and illustrated brochures for the new tourism industry. In 1907 he painted another episode from the year 1809: "Speckbacher Takes the Bridge over the Sill".
